Position: Marketing Intern or Brand Ambassador (These are paid positions)
Description: OrderUp Marketing Interns and Brand Ambassadors are passionate about OrderUp and want to share that passion with friends, family, fellow students and complete strangers. Their main goals are to increase brand awareness locally, introduce others to the OrderUp’s unique food-ordering platform, and spread an overall brand love through events, guerilla marketing, and other creative avenues. This position will combine Sales and Customer Relationship Management, Marketing Program Oversight and Execution.
Location: Marketing Interns + Brand Ambassadors will report directly to OrderUp’s Iowa City office
Reports To: Community Marketing Manager
Schedule: Part-Time [15-20 hours per week; includes some nights and weekends]
Training: Marketing Interns and Brand Ambassadors will be supervised and mentored directly by OrderUp’s Community Marketing Manager. All interns will undergo an immense 1on1 on-boarding process throughout the first several weeks of joining OrderUp; during which they will be mentored in all software programs, best practices, and company standards. Marketing Interns will work hand-in-hand with department leadership throughout their experience to integrate them in planning processes, strategy brainstorming seminars, and developing a great understanding for strategic marketing and brand development.
